저널쓰기를 통한 예비유아교사의 교사이미지와 이상적 유아교사이미지 탐색
A study on early childhood pre-service teacher's thoughts on teacher's image and early childhood teacher's ideal image

본 연구는 예비유아교사 44명을 대상으로 그들이 경험한 교사에 대한 이미지와 이상적 유아교사 이미지 형성 요인을 저널쓰기를 통해 알아보았다. 예비유아교사들이 유아기부터 초, 중, 고등학교의 교육 경험을 통해 형성한 교사의 이미지와 유아교사에 대한 이상적 유아교사에 대해 분석한 결과는 첫째, 긍정적 교사이미지로 부모 같이 온화한 보살핌을 주신 선생님, 다양한 체험활동을 통한 흥미제공자, 올바른 삶의 방향 안내자, 관심과 칭찬을 통한 자신감 충전자였다. 둘째, 부정적 교사이미지로서 실수에 대한 상처 제공자, 어려움에 처할 때 방관자, 차별 대우자, 암기위주의 단순한 교수법 제공자, 엄격한 규칙 제공자로 기억하고 있었다. 셋째, 예비유아교사들이 되고자 하는 이상적인 유아교사이미지는 정서적으로 안정감을 주는 부모 같은 선생님, 다양한 체험을 중시한 선생님, 유아의 마음을 이해해 주는 선생님, 어려울 때마다 도와주신 헌신적인 선생님이 되고 싶다고 표현하였다. 결과적으로 예비유아교사의 이상적 교사이미지는 자신이 교육받았던 교육 경험과 사회적 맥락을 반영하여 변화하고 있음을 시사 한다.
Abstract
This study aims to examine the early childhood pre-service teacher's thoughts on teacher's image and early childhood teacher's ideal image. The journal writings of 44 early childhood pre-service teachers were analyzed with qualitative analysis method. Asthe results of analyzing the contents of journal writings were as follows: First, early childhood pre-service teachers listed positive teacher images as a teacher who gave the warm care like parents, who taught through various activities, who introduced a right direction of life for children, and who empowered children to get confidence through care and praise. Second, the early childhood pre-service teachers listed negative teacher images as a teacher who wound zoom in on children's mistakes, who did notcare about children with troubles, who discriminated children, who taught by rote only, and who was strict. Third, early childhood pre-service teachers listed ideal teacher images as a teacher who gives emotional comfort like parents, who values children's various experimental learning, who understand children's mind, and who dedicated to help children put the ax in the helve. That is, the pre-service teachers' image of ideal teacher was found to be formed closely connected to their past educational experience and changed reflecting the social context.
