친족위탁가정의 심리적 양육환경이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 친족위탁가정의 심리적 양육환경의 실태와 심리적 양육환경이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 심리적 양육환경은 부모역할 스트레스, 가족기능, 위탁동기로 구성되었다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기지역의 가정위탁센터에 등록된 위탁아동의 조부모 및 친인척 위탁부모인 200명을 대상으로 유의표집하여 설문조사를 하였으며 최종 187사례를 분석하였다. 분석결과로서 친족위탁가정의 기초적 특성으로서 부모역할 스트레스는 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으며 위탁가정은 낮은 수준의 부모-자녀 개방적 의사소통을 하였으며 가족응집성은 높은 편이었으나 가족적응성은 낮은 편으로 나타났다. 위탁부모들은 많은 경우 자발적으로 아동을 위탁한 것으로 나타났으며 아동의 행동문제 발생은 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 친족위탁가정에서의 심리적 양육환경과 아동의 문제행동과의 관계에 대한 경로분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 친족부모들의 부모역할 스트레스가 높을수록 아동의 문제행동은 높게 나타났다. 친족부모들의 부모역할 스트레스는 부모-자녀간 의사소통을 통해 아동의 문제행동에 영향을 미치지 못하였고 가족의 응집성과 가족의 적응성은 아동 문제행동에 영향을 미쳤다. 부모역할 스트레스가 높으면 가족의 응집성이 낮아지며 이에 따라 문제행동은 오히려 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모역할 스트레스가 높으면 가족의 적응성은 낮아지며 이에 따라 문제행동은 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 위탁의 자발적 동기의 경우 비자발적으로 위탁한 경우보다 부모역할 스트레스가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 위탁아동의 적응문제는 공급주체인 위탁부모를 중심으로 한 위탁가정의 심리 환경적 개입을 필요로 함을 시사한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the current state of psychological nucturing circumstances and influence of the kinship foster parents' parental role stress, family functioning, motivation of care on the children's problem behavior. 187 cases of foster parents giving kinship care were studied. The major findings were as follows:1) kinship foster parents showed high parental role stress, low level of parent-child communication level, high family cohesiveness, and low family adaption. Many kinship foster parents nurtured children with voluntary motivation and foster children had low level of children's problem behavior. 2) the kinship foster parents' high parental role stress level caused many children's problem behavior. Parental role stress through parent-child communication had not influenced on children's problem behavior. Parental role stress through family cohesiveness and adaptation caused children's problem behavior. Voluntary motivation influenced lessened the kinship foster parents' parental role stress. Based on the results, several policy and programs were suggested.
