결혼행복감의 결정요인 분석：소득수준별 차이를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 첫째, 결혼행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 온 다양한 차원의 변인들을 포괄하여 결혼행복감 모형을 도출하고, 둘째, 경제적 수준에 따라 그 영향요인들 간 차이를 비교하며, 셋째, 최종적으로 경제적 수준별로 결혼행복감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인들을 도출하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 서울시복지패널 1차년도 가구원 조사대상자 중 배우자가 있는 5059명의 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 결혼행복감은 부부차원 뿐 아니라 개인과 환경 차원의 다양한 변인들로부터 영향을 받는 복합적 감정이자 경험으로 나타났으며, 이중에서도 부부간 신뢰와 대화, 개인의 스트레스 수준 등이 주 영향요인으로 도출되었다. 그리고 이러한 결혼행복감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 모든 변인들은 소득수준에 따라 유의한 차이가 입증되어, 그만큼 저소득 계층의 경우에 결혼의 위기에 봉착할 가능성이 크다는 사실을 보여주었다. 또한 소득 구분에 따라 서로 다르게 도출된 결혼행복감 모형은 소득 수준을 고려한 가족복지 정책 및 실천의 필요성을 제시해 주었다. 결론적으로 경제적 요인은 대도시 부부의 삶에 있어서 중요한 부분이지만, 행복한 결혼생활을 위해서는 개인, 부부, 사회의 다차원적인 노력과 지원이 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are i) to draw a marital happiness model with eco-systemic variables ii) to compare the differences of factors influencing marital happiness by economic condition, iii) to find models of marital happiness by level of income. The research data of the 1st Seoul welfare Panel was systematically analyzed. The influential of each variable was verified by using multiple regression and ANOVA. The major results are followed：Marital happiness is complex emotion and experience that is influenced from various variables of couple as well as individual and environment dimension. Among these variables, especially, trust and conversation between couple and individual's stress level have very significant influence. And, these significant variables are proved difference according to income level and it shows that low income couple could run into the crisis of marriage more easily. Also, different marital happiness models by income level present necessity of family welfare policy and practice considering economic condition. Through this study, it is confirmed that money is important to marriage life in a large city as Seoul, but multidimensional effort and support is necessary to happy marriage as well.
