국어과 교육과정의 ‘고쳐쓰기’ 내용 분석 및 교육 내용 개선 방안 탐색

이 연구는 작문 과정에서 고쳐쓰기의 중요성을 보다 강조해야 한다는 문제의식에서 그간 우리나라 국어과 교육과정의 ‘고쳐쓰기’ 관련 내용을 분석하고, 개선 방안을 제안하였다. 그 결과 우리나라 ‘고쳐쓰기’ 교육과정의 문제점은 형식주의 측면에서 고쳐 써야 하는 내용이 무엇인가에만 초점을 둔 교육 내용이 중심이 되어서 고쳐쓰기의 구체적인 방법에 해당하는 단계나 과정에 대한 교육 내용이 부족하다는 점이었다. 그러므로 국어과 ‘고쳐쓰기’ 내용을 개선하기 위해서는 발산적 고쳐쓰기와 수렴적 고쳐쓰기와 같이 고쳐쓰기 행위의 세부적인 단계를 함께 교육할 필요가 있다. 또한 보다 근본적으로 과정 중심의 작문 이론에 근거하여 고쳐쓰기 행위를 쓰기 과정 모두와 연계된 과정으로 확장시키는 관점이 필요하다. 초고를 텍스트 수준에서 고쳐 쓰는 것 외에도 쓰기의 목적이나 수단을 수정해야 해서 쓰기 과정 전반으로의 회귀와 수정(revise)으로 고쳐쓰기 교육 내용을 확장시킬 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the contents of 'rewriting' of Korean language education curriculum in Korea and suggested improvement contents in order to emphasize the importance of rewriting in writing process. As a result, the problem of the 'rewriting' curriculum in our country is that the contents of education focused on what contents to be rewritten in the aspect of formalism are centered, so there is a lack of education contents about the steps and processes that correspond to the concrete method of rewriting. Therefore, in order to improve the contents of 'rewriting' in Korean, it is necessary to educate the detailed steps of rewriting such as divergent rewriting and convergent rewriting. In addition, based on the process - oriented writing theory, it is necessary to extend the rewriting act to the process associated with all writing processes.
