한국 차자표기와 아카드문자 체계의 비교론적 고찰 - 한국의 한자 차자표기와 아카드의 수메르문자 차자표기가 보이는 유사성을 중심으로 -

이 글에서는 한국 차자표기와 아카드문자 체계를 비교해 한국 차자표기의 특성을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 수메르 설형문자를 간략하게 소개하였다. 수메르문자는 한자와 유사한 점이 많았지만 일군의 표음자를 가지고 있다는 차이를 가지고 있었다. 그리고 수메르 설형문자가 아카드에 넘어가 아카드어를 표기하게 된 양상을 살폈다. 아카드 설형문자 체계는 훈독과 음독을 가지고 있었다. 그리고 표음자가 다수 존재했고 동음자와 다음자가 많았다는 점도 특징으로 들 수 있다. 마지막으로 차자표기와 아카드문자 체계를 대비하여 둘의 유사점과 차이점을 살펴보았다. 두 문자 체계는 훈독과 음성보충자를 가진다는 점에서는유사성을 가지고 있으나 의미보충자의 부재(한국의 차자표기), 어순 표시의 부재(아카드문자)라는 점에서는 차이가 있었다.
Abstract
In this paper, we tried to clarify the characteristics of Korean borrowing writing system by comparing Korean borrowing writing system and Akkadian writing system. Under this purpose, we briefly introduced Sumerian writing system. The Sumerian characters were similar to Chinese characters except a group of phonetic characters. And then we looked at the aspect that the Sumerian syllabic was handed to the Akkad and it was used for Akkadian language. The Akkadian writing system has Kun-reading and On-reading. There are many phonetic signs, and homophonys and polyphonys. Finally, we looked at the similarities and differences between the Korean borrowing writing system and Akkadian writing system.
