With the opening of the era of popular music, various music is being mass-produced regardless of genre, and many studies according to the phenomenon are also reported through academia. However, research on the social phenomena caused by the mass production of popular music is dominated, while music research is incomplete. This thesis will analyze the musical analysis of the same-day band 'The Tiger Is Coming Down', which drew global attention by combining Korean traditional music and popular music. By attempting to analyze the musical techniques that 'The Tiger Is Coming Down' could attract the public's attention from various angles, we want to look at what is the fundamental factor that enabled us to gain global competitiveness. Through this, we hope that Korean popular music can grow into music that can gain global competitiveness along with the production of creative and convergent popular music required by the present era.
