Abstract

This dissertation has been written with a purpose to examine and to understand the meaning of the deconstruction in Korean contemporary drama. Lee Youn-taek is an author who gives us a valued insight. Faust on the Blue Jeans is a sample to analyze Lee Youn-taek's concept on the deconstruction in his plays. The study on the deconstruction aspects, should be gathered in obtaining critical vision including urgent problems of contemporary society and in wise critical intervention giving rise to writing a work.
