1920년대 근대문학 1세대의 한 사람인 김명순에 대한 그동안의 논의는 여성주의의 범주 와 소설 장르에 한정되어 이어져 왔다. 이에 본고는 김명순의 소설과시를 함께 다루면서 식민지 근대의 한 여성에게 기입된 다층적인 상황을 고려하는접근으로 기존의 논의들을 극복해 보고자 했다. 이러한 논의를 통해 우리는 당대남성 가부장제뿐만 아니라 제국주의나 근대 자본주의의 맥락에서 여성이 타자화되는 과정을 목격하게 되며, 김명순은 그러한 타자화의 경험으로부터 남성 가부장제와 제국주의, 그리고 근대 자본주의를 비판하고 극복하는 타자성을 보여주게 된다. 김명순은 자신의 실제 상황을 고백하는 사소설적 형식을 통해 성, 제국, 근대에의해 타자화되는 자신의 삶을 드러내게 된다. 이때, 김명순은 남성에 의해 보편적여성에 미달하는 ‘서녀’로 구성됨으로써, 가장 소외된 주변성을 지닌 타자화된 존재가 된다. 또한 김명순과 그의 주인공들은 제국과 가부장적 민족주의의 ‘현모양처’ 만들기에 의해 길들여지거나 사회질서를 문란하게 하는 타락한 여성으로 타자화되고, 마지막으로 허영과 사치의 속물적 존재로 전락하여 생산의 가치를 상실한근대 자본주의의 잉여의 존재로 타자화된다. 이러한 타자화 경험이 김명순으로 하여금 다양한 형식의 타자화를 비판하고 극복할 수 있는 타자성을 꿈꾸고 분출하게하는데, 이러한 욕망은 시를 통해 실현된다.
Abstract
Kim Myeong-soon is the first generation of modern literature in the 1920s. Existing discussion around feminism and the novel was conducted. This study covers a Kim Myeong-soon' novels and poetry, is to consider the multi-layered situation facing a woman in the modern colonial. Through this discussion, we observed the process once a woman becomes the other directed in modern capitalism and imperialism as well as patriarchy. From the experience of those the other directed, Kim Myeong-soon is shown the otherness to criticize and overcome patriarchy, imperialism,and modern capitalism. Kim Myeong-soon reveals her life to the other directed by sex, Empire, modernity through I-story to confess her real-life situations. At this time, Kim Myeong-soon is the other directed as the most marginal existence by men, Because this woman can not reach universal as a daughter born out of wedlock. Or Kim Myeong-soon and her protagonists are habituated to a good housewife by Empire and patriarchal nationalism. Also she or her protagonists becomes the other directed to fallen women that is confused the social order. Finally, Kim Myeong-soon becomes the other directed to an overplus of modern capitalism lost the value of production as a worldly-minded person engages in the vanity and luxury. Due to this experience, Kim Myeong-soon criticize and overcome the other directed of the various formats. This is the otherness. This the otherness is realized through Kim Myeong-soon' poetry.
