1960년대 연극계의 신동향과 현대 뮤지컬의 형성

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to inquires the formation of modern musical, focusing on productions which were performed 1960s. This paper is largely divided into four parts: first, on the development of Repertory system centered on theatre ; secondly, on western-style musical produced in theatrical company ; thirdly, on experimental approaches to new music drama development ; and last, on mobile theater movements. This was an indication of the steady growth of interest in musicals, and it became a direct starting point of forming the modern Korean theatre.
