초록

History-Biography Fictions showed process of nationalization of women. However according to the study of characteristics of heroines in "Aegukbuinjeon" and "Raranbuinjeon", it is difficult to identify women's participation in society with woman as social subject. The first is that heroines participated in a war or revolution were masculine. The heroines were involved in a war or revolution without feminine. Therefore, women didn't exist in there. The second is that heroines died tragically in History-Biography Fictions. Women's death in a war or revolution was related to ideology for national integration. Only women as the dead participated in a war or revolution. The third is that heroines in History-Biography Fictions showed attitude as an assistant. Women as assistant for her husband and parent for her child were not women as subject. Heroines in History-Biography Fictions were points where patriotism conflicted feminity. This is a recurring problem since. Therefore this paper is significant because of exploring the origin of the problem with patriotism and feminity.
