This article aims at examine characteristics and meanings of (post) modernity in Lee, Moon-gu's novels focusing on <My body have been standing or walking too long(My body)>. The core thought revealed in it is ontology, that is, use of uselessness. That is attempt to recover beings breaking away major order dominated by modern utility. <My body> pay attention to interiority of isolated individual creating aesthetic space contrasting to outer real space. On the one hand 『My body』 search rural problem continuously that his novel dealt with repeatedly. Charging harmful effect of modernization with outer factor of rural problem, also it charge with inner factor. The logic of post-modern subject in Lee, Moon-gu's novel is expressed by belief and affectionate to the people. The post-modern thought can be confirmed in his style and sentence.
