본 논문은 ‘민중적 가치를 지닌 『태백산맥』의 문학의 정치성을 보다 분명하게밝혀볼 수 있지 않을까’라는 궁금증을 해소하려는 의도에서 시작되었다. 랑시에르의 이론을 근거로 한 본 논문은 연구를 통해 텍스트를 좌익편향적 시각으로 바라보면서 정치적 텍스트로 규정했던 오해의 시선들이 치안의 논리에서 비롯되었음을 밝혔다. 『태백산맥』은 계급·계층 간의 갈등과 좌우익 이데올로기의 대립을 통해 평범했던 농민들이 왜 빨치산이 될 수밖에 없었고 염상진의 죽음 앞에 이르러서야 염상진·상구의 대립이 끝나게 되는가라는 의문점을 제시한다. 이를 통해 독자들에게 ‘이데올로기의 본질이 무엇인가’라는 화두를 던지고 있었다. 공동체 안에서 자신의 몫을 분배받지 못하고 쓰레기로 취급되던 잉여들은 치안이라는 배분매커니즘 안에서 아르케의 논리에 의해 희생된 자들이었다. 지주들은 자유라는 이름으로 소유의 불평등을 합리화하고 소작인들에게는 이미 법으로 폐지된 신분제를 앞세웠다. 치안의 논리에 따라 통치하고 경영하며 ‘포함과 배제’라는 논리 안에서 이들에게 몫을 부여하지 않았다. 그러나 이들은 예속된 인민의 자리에서 스스로 벗어나 우열, 배분, 포함이라는 기득권들의 원칙에 합일되는 것을 주체적으로거부하고 주체화의 과정을 통해 데모스가 되었다. 생존을 위한 최소한의 권리를찾고자 스스로의 목소리를 내기 시작했고 정치적 중앙에서 배제된 주체로서 새로운 장을 쓰려고 했다. 학습, 쟁의, 투쟁 등을 통해 치안논리에 불일치하는 행위를하며 열등하다는 믿음에서 벗어난 이들은 주체화된 데모스로서 평등과 해방을 얻는데 한 발 다가간 것이다. 감성의 분할이 감각적인 것의 나눔이며 사회구성원으로서 가져야 하는 ‘몫이 없음’을 결정하는 방식이라는 것을 깨달은 이들은 크고 작은 에피소드들 안에서 감성을 재분할하고 데모스로 주체화 되어갔다. 우리는 인물들의 이러한 성장 과정을 통해 『태백산맥』이 가지는 감성과 정치적 무의식을 읽어낼 수 있다.
Abstract
The thesis begin to work from solve the curiosity about Politics Quality of Literature of Taeback Mountains that have democratic value. The thesis based on Rancière theories, I defined ‘eyes of misunderstanding’ about texts started police logics, actually for a long time the texts was defined political text and leftist ideology text. Taeback Mountains ask some questions, about ideology‘s essence, peasant as partizan, among class’ antagonism, antagonism of ideology to us. Surplus are waste that they weren‘t distributed one’s share in the cooperation world and was sacrificed in distribution mechanism by arche‘s logic. Landowners rule tenants as police logic, rationalize inequality of possession by name of freedom, and they forced social status system that was abolished by low to tenants. didn’t distribute share to tenants in the logic of inclusion and exclusion. but they got out of a subordinate position of people by oneself. refuse principle of vested rights, superiority or inferiority, inclusion and exclusion by independent. and they became demos through a process of subjective. They speak loudly to find the minimum right for survive,and try to write a new letters as subjective who was excluded in the politics center. they did disagrementing movement and got out of inferioring faith through learning, struggle, dispute and got equality and liberation as subjective demos. they realized division of sensibility is division of sensible, a decision method that is don‘t have a share as social construct members. They became subjective demos, divided sensibility in episodes. We can read sensibility and political unconsciousness through a growth process of characters in Taeback Mountains.
