韓愈 散文의 特徵 — 文氣와 文奇를 중심으로

韓愈는 中唐 시기 문단의 영수였으며, 唐宋八大家의 한 사람이다. 그는 뛰어난 산문을 많이 창작한 중국문학사에서의 빛나는 존재다. 본고에서는 그의 뛰어난 산문을 분석하여 그 특징을 「氣」와 「奇」의 측면에서 文氣的 특징과 文奇的 특징이라는 두 항목으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 한유 산문이 고도의 사상성뿐만 아니라 뛰어난 예술성도 구비하고 있다는 것은 그가 문학이론 방면뿐만 아니라 산문에 나타나고 있는 구체적인 표현들에서도 예술성이 뛰어남을 말하는 것이다. 文氣란 이론이 아닌 내용이나, 문체상에 있어서의 웅혼한 기백 같은 것을 의미한다. 한유는 문장의 기세를 증가시키기 위하여 여러 가지 예술성을 시도했으며, 그러한 의도는 그의 실제적인 창작에서도 살펴볼 수 있다. 아울러 文氣的 입장에서 도출해 낸 특징들은 文奇的 입장에서도 도출이 가능하였는데, 분방한 文氣는 文奇의 경지까지 넘나들며 많은 특징들을 만들어냈기 때문인 것으로 생각한다.
Abstract
Han Yu was the leader of the literary group during the Middle Tang Dynasty, and he is one of the most famous of the Chinese literature. I analyzed his excellent prose and divided it into two categories: one is 「Literary vigor」, the other is 「Literary wonder」. Han Yu’s prose has not only high ideologicality but also excellent artistry. It is not only the literary theory but also the artistic excellence in the concrete expressions that appear in the prose. It means something other than theory, or a kind of spirited spirit in style. The application of the free choice or change of the technique of spoken language, or the phrase of the tangible sentence was one of the ways to increase the momentum of the sentence, and such authoric intentions were fully seen in his actual creation. In addition, the characteristics derived from the momentum standpoint can be derived from a strange standpoint, and I think that the momentum is due to the fact that it has created many characteristics across the state of wonder.
