Abstract

This paper examines that Ghost in the Shell not only cites numerous images and motifs from Western cyberpunk, but also uses exaggerated expressions as a post-modern meta-movie to present a new image of cyberspace, cyborg, women, and Orientalism, thereby winning the hearts of the public and critics. praised In addition, it shows the possibility of being liberated from the physical body in cyberspace to create a new subjectivity, removing the boundary between self and others, and creating a new living organism. Cyberspace, which started as a medium of information exchange, has become a ‘social space’ in which people’s daily lives are rhythmic, and social relationships are realized in the form of a flow. This space stimulates anarchist imagination. It also functions as a metaphor for the original goal of anarchism, which seeks to become an autonomous and independent existence, and seeks to achieve such independence as freely as possible while living independently in a network of relationships.
