생애사 연구를 통한 암 환자의 도시숲치유 활동에 대한 이해

본 연구는 생애사 연구를 통해 암 환자가 경험하는 도시숲치유 활동의 특징과 의미 그리고 암 진단 후겪게 되는 다양한 위기와 대처에 도시숲치유 활동이 기여하는 바가 무엇인지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 암진단 후 5년이 지나 완치 판정을 받은 한 명의 참여자를 선정하였으며, 심층면접을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 현상학적 연구 절차와 분석을 적용하여 도출한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 암 진단을 받은 시기에 참여자의 도시숲치유 활동은 정태적이고 비가시적인 상태였다. 암 투병 시기에 참여자의 도시숲치유 활동은 일상 밖에서 일상으로의 순환적 복귀의 수단이었다. 마지막으로 암 투병이 끝난 회복 시기에 참여자의 도시숲치유 활동은 가족, 이웃, 사회로의 연속성과 확장성을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 암환자의 도시숲치유로서 신체활동의 의미와 필요성에 대해 논하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore urban forest therapy characteristics and meaning of physicalactivity experienced by cancer patient through the biography research and the urban forest therapy activity thatcontribute to look of what to the various crisis and coping with experienced after a cancer diagnosis. For this, it wasselected the participants that is determined to cure five years after a cancer diagnosis and data were collected throughin-depth interviews. The results of derived by applying the phenomenological procedure and analysis are as follows. It was static and non-visible state of urban forest therapy activities by the period of the participant was received adiagnosis of cancer. The period of the participant cured with cancer was that urban forest therapy activities was ameans of cyclical return outside the daily routine to the daily. Lastly, urban forest therapy activities of the participantwith cancer at the end of the recovery period leads to family members, neighbors, social continuity and scalabilitybeyond the group. Based on these results, the meaning and need of physical activity as urban forest therapy of thecancer patient were discussed.
