소리경관은 자연이 주는 회복환경의 중요한 요인으로 인식되고 있다. 자연, 특히 산림은 다양한 형태의 소리로 구성된 소리경관을 가지고 있다. 새소리, 바람소리, 물소리, 야생동물 등의 소리는 방문객들에게 풍부한 자연 경험을 제공하고 있고 산림치유의 중요한 인자로도 활용된다. 과거의 연구들은 한결같이 자연의 소리경관이 긍정적인 회복에 큰 영향을 준다고 보고해 왔다. 이런 중요성에도 불구하고 우리나라에서는 자연환경을 기반으로한 소리경관과 그로부터 나타나는 회복력과의 관계를 측정하는 도구는 전무한 형편이다. 본 연구는 자연기반 소리경관의 회복환경을 측정하는 척도(Perceived Restoration Scale Based on Nature-Soundscape)를 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 또한 개발된 척도를 대상으로 신뢰도 및 타당도 조사를 통하여 현장에서의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 본 연구 자료의 분석결과를 토대로 살펴보았을 때, 개발된 척도는 매우 유용하며 적절히 사용될 수 있다고 사료된다.
Abstract
Soundscape is considered as a significant element for psychological restoration in natural areas. Nature, especially, forests are the places holding a large ranges of soundscape with sounds of birdsong, wind, and water, wildlife, and others. The previous research has reported these sounds can enhance positive psychological effects when people interact with forests or spending time in the forests. There is a growing interest in measurement of relationship between soundscape and restoration. This purpose of this study is to develop a scale measuring the effects of restoration from people’s experiencing with soundscape. To fulfill the purpose of the study, a scale of measurement for restoration effects from soundscape was developed. With completed the scale, this study is to verify the reliability and validity of the restoration scale based on the natural soundscape. Based on these tests, it appears that the scale is a sound measure of soundscape and restoration for Korean.
