The purpose of this paper is to identify the communication strategies used by organ procurement coordinators when providing information during organ procurement interviews with brain-dead families, and these strategies could be used later in the training of organ procurement coordinators. For this purpose, 10 narrative interviews were first carried out with the families of the brain dead and later qualitatively analyzed. According to this qualitative Analysis, various communicative strategies of the organ procurement coordinators were identified during the interview with the families of the brain dead. They can be analyzed into 6 categories: strategies for preparing interview, strategies for interview processing, strategies for providing contents, strategies for communicative attitude, strategies for non-verbal communication, strategies for setting communicative environment.
