자치단체의 관내도 제작과 활용에 관한 연구

Abstract

Although various digital maps are provided by government institutions and map producers, it is not easy to find maps precise and accurate enough to meet the needs of users. The reason for this is that government institutions are focus on the standardization in the road map production, while map producers are focused on updating the partial changes of existing maps. Moreover, precise real time updating of maps has been difficult because most of local governments have so far taken no interest in map production.This study suggested that practical and accurate map could be produced by local governments which has near real-time access to any changes in the region. It is considered that the efficient database construction and map update for a regional map in near real time is possible in this way. In addition, the study proposed a standard framework in establishing map layers, graphical symbols, and the map production flow. It is also suggested that map production system should be switched over from the current small kind of mass production to a small quantity of variety-map production system.
