Abstract
This study examines whether CEO change affects firm performance and firm age can moderate the relationship between CEO change and firm performance in digital contents industry. Using data on CEO changes of digital contents firms listed in KOSDAQ from 2016 to 2018, we find that CEO change is negatively related to firm performance, and that this effect weakens as firms grow older. In the discussion, we trace the implications of our study for research and practice.
