The purpose of this study is to analyze internet headline expression for Korean language education. For this purpose, this study examine the types of semantic construction and pragmatic function of internet headline expression. The semantic construction of internet headline expression are divided into implication meaning, creative meaning, socio-cultural meaning. Implication meaning include ellipsis, onomatopoeic, mimetic word, symbols. Creative meaning include homonym, figures of speech. Socio-cultural meaning include coined word, a word in fashion, intertextuality. The pragmatic function of internet headline expression consist of information offer function, the question at issue function, solution offer function, interest function.
