초록
The history of the Maghreb Sahara terror groups is very diverse in its developmental process, formation and distribution. This formation and distribution process is very important for understanding the specificity of the region. Particularly, it is crucial to understand the fact that the Al Qaeda, the Islamic state (IS) and terrorist groups advocating the construction of a Berber state are intricately intertwined and form a rivalry. If we do not understand this complex composition, we will have only a fragmentary view of terrorism that occurs in Africa, Europe, and not just in Maghreb. For example, terrorism in Mali and Burkina Faso will be are justified as terrorism by a religious group called 'Islam' in the same context as the terror acts in Paris, Brussels, London or Nice. However, the complexity and diversity of the region make it clear that this series of terrorism has more of a socio-cultural nature than a religious one. Recognizing this point, this study examined the historical process, formation, distribution of recent terrorist groups, and their competing composition as an attempt to understand the diversity of Maghreb Sahara. This will help to understand various aspects of the region, as well as instability factors that threaten Africa and Europe.
