Abstract
This study analyzes the problems of women's labor around Mexico' s maquiladora industry. The Purpose of this article narrowly analyzes the structural problems of Mexico 's society and economy in terms of women and broadly reveals the reality of violence in globalization. For this purpose, this paper considers how violence of globalization uses and misrepresents the female body in the background of the maquiladora industry, using the globalization theory of Parreñas. Third world women workers in the maquiladora industry experience not only the labor force but also the multi layered alienation phenomenon from the standpoint of gender, race, and class in connection with sexual oppression and exploitation as well as labor. Due to low wages, sexual violence, intensive working conditions and poor working conditions, Mexican women often come to die and sometimes try to prostitute young girls because of the difficult economic environment in Mexico. Nonetheless, these responsibilities are attributed to the "death by culture logic" or to the cultural traditions of Mexico and ultimately to women's own responsibility. Based on the consciousness of this problem, this study sheds light on the effects of globalization on the female body in relation to the maquiladora industry and the problems of women 's labor and the gender - related violence, thus emphasizing that maquiladoras industry is the servant of globalization.
