성학대 피해 남아의 우울 및 불안 감소를 위한 미술치료 사례연구

본 연구는 성학대 피해 남아를 대상으로 미술치료 프로그램을 실시하여 우울과 불안에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 B시 D초등학교 4학년에 재학 중인 남자 아동으로 같은 학원에 다니는 중1 형에 의해 1년 가까이 지속적인 성학대를 당해왔다. 미술치료 프로그램은 2007년 3월 20일 사전검사를 실시하였고, 3월 22일 ~ 7월 19일까지 주 1회 60분으로 총 17회기를 실시하였으며, 전원조치되기 전인 7월 24일에 사후검사를 실시하였다. 우울과 불안의 변화를 알아보기 위해 설문지 검사(CDI, BAI)와, 행동변화, 동적-집, 나무, 사람 그림검사(K-HTP)를 사전, 사후로 실시하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성학대 피해 남아의 우울과 불안의 변화 양상에서는 우울점수가 24점 감소하였으며, 불안점수는 18점이 감소하였다. 둘째, 동적-집, 나무, 사람그림검사(K-HTP)의 변화 양상에서는 남아의 우울과 불안이 감소하였다. 셋째, 행동관찰에 의한 변화 양상에서는 스스로 위생관리와 용변처리, 자기 의사표현, 밝은 표정 등으로 우울과 불안이 감소하였다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 미술치료가 성학대 피해 남아의 우울 및 불안에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
This study purports to see if and how an art therapy program influences depression and anxiety of a boy with sexual abuse. The boy, the subject of this study, is in the fourth grade of D elementary school of B city, who has been sexually abused by a first-year middle school boy who attended the same private academy with the subject. The art therapy program consists of a total of 17 sessions during March 22 through July 19 of 2007, one session a week and each session lasting 60 minutes, together with the pretest on March 20 and the posttest on July 24. Measuring tools to check the changes in depression and anxiety are CDI, BAI for questionnaire and behavioral changes, and K-HTP for pretest and posttest. The study results are as follows. First, as to the changes on depression and anxiety of the sexually abused boy, the level of depression exhibits 24 points decreased while the level of anxiety displays 18 points reduced. Second, the subject's depression and anxiety has been lowered according to the changes on K-HTP. Third, the subject's behavioral changes show less anxiety and depression with hygiene and lavatory control, and self expression with a bright look. These results prove that an art therapy program is positively effective in dealing with depression and anxiety of a boy with sexual abuse.
