PPAT 그림검사에 나타난 대학생의 우울 및 조증 예측 변인 연구

본 연구는 PPAT(Person Picking an Apple from a Tree: 사과 따는 사람) 그림검사의 요소 중 대학생의 우울 및 조증을 예측해 주는 요소에는 어떤 것들이 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 B시에 위치한 4년제 대학 2곳에 재학 중인 353명의 대학생들에게 2010년 3월 16일 ~ 2011년 4월 5일까지 개인 또는 소집단(2~5명)으로 MMPI 383검사와 PPAT 그림검사를 실시하여 그 중 D척도와 Ma척도가 단독 상승한 43사례만을 선별하였다. PPAT 그림검사는 형식척도와 내용척도에 근거하여 회귀분석과 질적분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 형식척도에서 배경묘사와 색칠정도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 우울을 예측해 주는 요소로 나타났다. 이와 관련하여 내용척도를 살펴본 결과, 그림에서 지시된 내용 이외의 항목을 그리지 않거나 사람을 단색으로 표현하는 경우 대학생의 우울을 예측할 수 있었다. 둘째, 형식척도에서 공간과 인물표현이 통계적으로 유의미하게 조증을 예측해 주는 요소로 나타났다. 이와 관련하여 내용척도를 살펴본 결과, 그림을 그릴 때 제시된 화지를 벗어나거나 신체 일부분을 생략하는 등 그림을 그리는 데 있어 통제력이 부족한 측면이 고려되는 경우 대학생의 조증을 예측할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 선행연구와 유사하거나 다소 상이한 점이 있어 반복연구가 요구되나, 임상에서 검증된 표준화검사를 통한 예측 변인을 살펴보았다는 것에 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study explored prediction factors to predict depression and mania use of drawing the PPAT(Person Picking an Apple From a Tree). 353 students have been selected for this study, who were in a university in B-city. MMPI and PPAT picture test have been conducted with individual or small group(2~5 persons) from Mar. 16. 2010 to Apr. 5. 2011. And then 43 cases have been selected with a single rise of D-scale or Ma-scale in MMPI. Mutiple Regression analysis have been conducted by FEATS and qualitative analysis conducted to be based on results of FEATS. The results of this study were as follows: First, Prominence of color and Environment were prediction factors of depression significantly. And we can predict of depression a case it was used a single color in person or didn't draw things of others except demanding topics. Second, Space and Expression of person were prediction factors of mania significantly. And we can predict of mania a case it seems little control like drawing a picture beyond a piece of paper. The results of this study matched or didn't with early studies but there was a significance to search prediction factors through a standard test.
