또래집단 미술활동이 공격성을 지닌 아동의사회성 기술에 미치는 효과

초록

본 연구의 목적은 공격성을 지닌 아동을 대상으로 또래 미술활동이 사회성 기술에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이 연구의 문제는 첫째, 또래 미술활동이 공격성을 지닌 아동의 「사회적 기술」에 미치는 효과를 밝히고, 둘째, 또래 미술활동이 공격성을 지닌 아동의 「문제행동」에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 것이다. 마지막으로는 또래 미술활동이 공격성을 지닌 아동의 「학업능력」에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 것이다. 이에 이 연구에서는 언어적, 행동적 공격성으로 또래아동과의 관계에서 부적응행동을 보이는 초등학교 재학 중인 아동 1명을 대상으로 또래아동과 함께 다양한 재료를 사용한 미술활동을 50분씩 총 23회기에 걸쳐 실시하였으며, 연구문제에 대한 아동의 변화를 알아보기 위한 검사도구로 사회평정기술척도를 사용하였다. 연구의 결과로 또래 미술활동은 첫째, 협동, 자기통제의 사회적 기술에서 커다란 점수 폭으로 향상을 보였으며, 외현, 다동에서의 문제행동이 커다란 점수 폭으로 감소하였다. 또한 아동의 학업능력에서도 커다란 점수 폭으로 향상을 보였으며 갈등상황과 일상생활에서 충동성과 공격성이 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 본 연구의 의의는 공격성을 가진 아동이 부정적인 감정 표출로 학교에서 또래아동관계와 학업성적에 악영향을 주고, 이로 인해 다시 공격적인 행동이 순환되는 아동의 행동문제를 감소시키는데 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how much Art Activities with Peers could contribute to improving the social skill of children with aggression. Subjects for the study was 1 elementary school student with aggression. The program of this study was carried out Art Activities with Peers. The pre/post test design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of Art Activities of Peers. The instrument was used to measure SSRS(Social Skills Rating System: Greshham & Elliott, 1990). The result of this research supported all the hypothesis that the program was effectiveness to improve the social skills for children with aggression. Fist, Art Activities with Peers was effective to improve of cooperation, self control. Second, Art Activities with Peers was effective to decrease of anti-social behaviors. Third, Art Activities with Peers was effective to improve of academic achievements. Besides above arguments, limitations for this research and further recommendations are also discussed.
