程度副詞修飾“名詞”的特點和理據

Abstract

The form of noun modified by degree adverbial (referred to as “＋名”) is commonly used in modern Chinese in China Mainland since the middle 1980s. The paper, researched firstly in the features of “＋名” in grammar, semantics and pragmatics, argued that “＋名” has grammaticalized as a syntactic pattern. The paper deemed that the fact of “＋名” being used frequently and widely is reasonable and motivated, then discussed the motivations in grammar, semantics, pragmatics and cognition, and examined afterwards the conditions of a noun’s coming into “＋名”. The paper tried at last to probe into the forming course of “＋名” ― originated in China Taiwan by translation and imitation of English, entered into Putonghua in China Mainland by imitation to the mandarin in China Taiwan and Hongkong.
