한국화매체를 활용한 집단미술치료가 저소득층 아동의 친사회적 행동과 자기표현에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 한국화매체를 활용한 집단미술치료가 저소득층 아동의 친사회적 행동과 자기표현에 미치는 효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 S시 소재 D초등학교에 재학 중인 초등학교 4~6학년 아동 중 저소득층가정에서 생활하고 있는 아동 12명을 실험집단 6명과 통제집단 6명으로 무선배치 하였다. 프로그램은 2014년 3 월 말부터 2014년 6월 초까지 주 1회, 회기 당 60분, 총 12회기 동안 해당 학교 미술실에서 연구자가 직접 실시하였고, 친사회적 행동과 자기표현이 향상 될 수 있도록 프로그램을 구성하였다. 한국화매체를 활용한 집단미술치료가 저소득층 아동의 친사회적 행동과 자기표현에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지 알아보기 위해 친사회적 행동척도와 자기표현 평정 척도를 측정하고 비모수적 통계방법을 사용하여 사전․사후 변화를 분석하였다. 양적분석을 보완하기 위해 전회기 축어록 내용과 작품변화에 대해 질적인 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 다음과 같은결론을 얻었다. 한국화매체를 활용한 집단미술치료 프로그램이 저소득층 아동의 친사회적 행동 향상과 자기표현 향상에 효과가 있다. 본 연구를 계기로 저소득층 아동을 대상으로 한 한국화매체를 활용한 미술치료 연구가활발히 이루어져 저소득층 아동의 건강한 성장과 발전에 실제적으로 도움이 되길 기대해 본다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group art therapy program using korean painting materials on prosocial behavior and self-expression in the low-income children. The subjects were 12 students who were from the fourth grade to the sixth grade of D Elementary School in S City. Six students were randomly selected for the experimental group, while the other six became the control group. The program was composed of 12 weekly 60-minutes sessions from the late March to the early June in 2014. The researcher conducted the program in the art room of D Elementary School, which was designed in order to improve prosocial behavior and self-expression. Changes in statistical data on prosocial behavior and self-expression were tracked before and after the program ended through quantitative and qualitative analyses. The results indicated that first, prosocial behavior. Second, self-expression was improved in terms of the statistical analysis as well as the content analysis. The control group did not improved. As a result, the group art therapy program using korean painting materials had a positive effect on prosocial behavior and self-expression of the low-income family in the experimental group.
