현재 한국에서 친환경농업으로 전환은 지속적으로 이루어질 것으로 보인다. 이 연구에서는 전환과정을 전기(1,2년)와 후기(3,4년)로 구분하고, 전환 시기에 따르는 변화인식, 교육수혜에서 성별차이를 알아보았다. 그 결과 전기보다 후기에서 더 긍정적인 변화를 경험하였으며, 여성의 역할에 대한 인식도 긍정적이었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 교육 참여는 남성 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며, 교육 수혜의 불평등이 ‘남성은 경영, 여성은 노동’이라는 성역할을 공고히 하며, 여성농업인을 주변화시키는 것으로 해석되었다. 마지막으로 친환경농업의 성공적인 정착을 위한 성별, 전환시기별 함의가 논의되었다.
Abstract
Presently it seems to be continued to convert conventional agriculture to environmental - oriented agriculture in korea. This study aimed to analyze the change cognition and gender inequality of farmer couple divide first term(1, 2years) into second term(3, 4years) according to periods which farmers converted to environmental - oriented agriculture. The results showed that farmers in second terms are recognized the change more positively than farmers in first terms about quality improvement of agricultural products, environmental preservation, role of women agricultural labor, and so on. In spite of such positive change, there are still sexual inequality in the agricultural education, agricultural labor, and so on. Sexual inequality, especially in education help to peripheralized women farmer. It was discussed the implication of conversion periods, gender impotance for environmental - oriented agriculture.
