아동학대 발생 환경 내의 누적적 위험요인과 아동 문제행동 간의 종단 연구: 아동학대 변화궤적 잠재계층의 매개요인을 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 아동학대 발생의 환경 맥락 내에 존재하는 위험요인들의 중첩이 아동학대의 변화궤적과 어떠한 관련성을 갖고 아동학대 변화궤적은 아동의 문제행동과 어떠한 관련성을 갖는지 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 한국복지패널의 아동용 부가조사 자료인 2006년도(후기학령기, T1)와 2009년도(전기청소년기, T4), 2012년도(중기청소년기, T7)의 3개차년도 종단자료를 활용하여, T1의 위험요인 중첩이 T1부터, T4, T7에 걸쳐 나타나는 아동학대의 변화궤적을 예측하는지, 그리고 이 아동학대의 변화궤적이 T7의 아동 문제행동을 예측하는지를 분석했다. 위험요인의 중첩은 아동학대 환경 맥락 내에 존재할 가능성이 높은 위험요인들을 종합하여 지수로 산출한 누적적 위험요인 점수로 정의하였고 아동학대는 신체학대, 정서학대, 방임의 중복 수준으로 정의하였으며 아동의 문제행동은 내재화와 외현화로 정의하여 연구에 활용했다. 성장혼합모형의 분석 결과, T1과 T4, T7에 걸쳐 나타나는 아동학대의 변화궤적은 ‘저수준 약감소’와 ‘고수준 증가’의 두 가지 유형의 잠재계층으로 구분되었다. 아동학대 변화궤적의 잠재계층을 매개변인으로 하여 누적적 위험요인(T1)과 문제행동(T7) 간의 관계를 분석한 결과, 누적적 위험요인은 ‘고수준 증가’의 아동학대 변화궤적의 잠재계층을 예측했고 ‘고수준 증가’의 아동학대 변화궤적의 잠재계층은 높은 수준의 내재화와 외현화를 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 연구결과를 바탕으로 아동학대 발생 맥락과 발달결과에 관한 논의를 전개하고 정책적, 실천적 함의를 논하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify how overlaps of risk factors present within the environmental context of the occurrence of child abuse are related to the longitudinal track of child abuse and how the longitudinal track of child abuse is related to the problem behavior of children. To this end, this study predicted the changing track of child abuse in T1, T4, and T7, using the data from 2006 (late academic year, T1) and 2009 (early adolescence, T4), and 2012 (mid adolescence period, T7). Overlapping of risk factors was used in this study by compiling the risk factors likely to exist in the environmental context of child abuse, defining child abuse as overlapping levels of physical abuse, emotional abuse and neglect, and defining child problem behavior as internalization and externalization. Analysis of the growth mix model for the potential layer of the child abuse trajectory that appears across T1 and T4 and T7 showed that the trajectory of the child abuse change was divided into two types of potential layers that represented the pattern of 'low-level decrease' and 'high-level increase'. Next, looking at the relationship between the risk factors of the early age (T1) and the problem behavior of the mid-term adolescent (T7), the risk factor of the early age (T1) had predicted the trajectory of "high-level increase" of child abuse and then the that trajcetory has predicted problem behavior of latter age (T7).
