Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in IL-6 levels in low-intensity aerobic exercise and high-intensity aerobic exercise for 12 weeks in 20th men with abdominal obesity. For this research, 50 abdominal obese males in their 20s were classified into five groups: a control group(n=10), a low cardiorespiratory fitness level and low intensity aerobic exercise group(n=10), a low cardiorespiratory fitness level and high intensity aerobic exercise group(n=10), a high cardiorespiratory fitness level and low intensity aerobic exercise group(n=10), and a high cardiorespiratory fitness level and high intensity aerobic exercise group(n=10). Upon analysing the data, the main findings of this study are as follows. With the intensity of aerobic exercise by cardiorespiratory fitness level, IL-6 presented a significant difference between the groups(p<0.001). There was a significant difference between group x interaction and group (p <0.05), and HCHA was lower than CG. In addition, there was a significant difference in post- IL-6 (p <0.01). As a result of post-hoc, HCHA was lower than CG. There was a significant difference (p <0.05) between the changes of IL-6 and post-test, and HCHA was higher than CG.
