자동 체성분 분석기를 이용하여 체지방율(%fat)을 산출하였으며 심폐지구력능력은 PACER(progressive aerobic cardiovascular endurance run)를 이용하여 간접식을 통해 VO2max를 계산하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the cardio-respiratory endurance level for not outbreaking obesity, to examine the relationship between %fat and outbreaking rate of obesity. To complete this research, 3506 students (elementary, middle and high students: male: 1887, female: 1619) were to be tested %fat using by automatic %fat analysis and PACER test for VO2max. The data were analyzed by SPSS 15.0 for crosstabs, correlation, and logistic regression analysis's odds ratio for identifying the outbreak rate of obesity with the cardio-respiratory endurance level. The results of this study was as following; First, the lower cardio-respiratory endurance, the higher 23-times outbreaking rate of obesity in low elementary school students. Second, the lower cardio-respiratory endurance, the higher 3-times outbreaking rate of obesity in high school students; however, the higher school grade, the lower the outbreak rate of obesity.
