Abstract

In general, Confucian thinkers can be said to have not been favorable to deviations from reality. That is, they regarded thoughts based on reality as important. In addition, they usually searched for solutions desperately only when they faced concrete issues. In other words, most of them have taken those thoughts that correspond to situations as the starting points of their theories. All philosophers and scholars in ancient times developed their own unique theories in this context of thinking. Confucian thoughts, which had a strong realistic nature, were no exception. Confucian thoughts are a system of thought with a strong worldly nature and their interest can be said to have been focused on problems in reality. Humans become to face diverse forms of the problems of moral conflicts in real life and one of which can be said to be the collision between the issues of blood ties and moral issues. Confucian thoughts formed their own unique system of thought on these very problems. The issue of collision between blood ties and morality in ancient Chinese society will be addressed in the body. In the body, discussions will be carried on focusing on Confucian thoughts about the relationship between blood tie issues and moral problems in the situation of the times. Therefore, in the body, the relationship between blood tie issues and morality in Spring and Autumn period will be analyzed centering on filial piety, the independence of morality, and the universality of a sense of morality.
