장애인 신체활동 관련 뉴스 기사의 이슈: 텍스트 마이닝 기반 토픽 모델링의 적용

초록

이 연구의 목적은 텍스트 마이닝 기반 키워드 네트워크 분석과 토픽 모델링을 적용하여 국내 장애인 신체활동 관련 뉴스 기사의 이슈를 탐색하는 것이다. 연구목적 달성을 위한 언론 데이터베이스는 빅카인즈로 선정하였으며, 1992년부터 2021년 12월 까지 보도된 장애인 신체활동 관련 1,453개 뉴스 기사, 23,163개의 키워드를 분석 자료로 선정하였다. 자료처리를 위해 Krkwic 프로그램 활용하여 키워드 공출현 행렬을 산출하였으며, Netminer 4.0 프로그램을 활용하여 키워드 네트워크 분석과 토픽 모델링을 분석을 수행하였다. 토픽 모델링 분석은 LDA 알고리즘 기반의 MCMC 학습방법을 적용하였다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인 신체활동 관련 뉴스 기사 는 2011년도를 기점으로 증가한 경향을 나타낸다. 뉴스 기사의 발생 빈도는 COVID-19의 영향을 크게 받지 않았다. 둘째, 장애인 신체활동 관련 뉴스 기사의 이슈 키워드는 건강, 지원, 활동, 서비스, 복지, 스포츠, 재활이다. 핵심 이슈는 ‘건강’을 중심으로 ‘지원’, ‘사업’, ‘서비스’의 키워드들이다. 셋째, 장애인 신체활동 관련 뉴스 기사의 핵심 토픽은 3가지이다. 구체적으로 신체활동을 통한 ‘건강 증진 및 재활’, 신체활동을 위한 ‘복지 지원 서비스’, 그리고 신체활동 관련 ‘스포츠 운동 프로그램’을 이슈로 보도되고 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 국내 장애인 신체활동과 관련한 기초 정보로 체육 및 스포츠, 그리고 건강 과학 영역에서 다양하게 활용될 수 있을 것이라 판단한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore issues in news articles related to physical activity for the disabled in Korea by applying text mining-based topic modeling. In order to achieve the research purpose, 1453 news articles and 23,163 keyword reported from 1992 to December 2021 were selected as analysis data. For data processing, a keyword co-occurrence matrix was calculated using the Krkwic program, and keyword network analysis and topic modeling were performed using the Netminer 4.0 program. The topic modeling analysis applied the LDA algorithm-based MCMC learning method. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, news articles related to physical activity for the disabled show an increasing trend starting from 2011. The frequency of occurrence of news articles was not significantly affected by COVID-19. Second, the keywords for issues in news articles related to physical activity for the disabled are ‘health’, ‘support’, ‘activities’, ‘welfare’, ‘sports’, and ‘rehabilitation’. The key issues are the keywords of 'support', 'business', and 'service' centering on 'health'. Third, there are three core topics of news articles related to physical activity for the disabled. Specifically, 'health promotion and rehabilitation' through physical activity, 'welfare support service' for physical activity, and 'sports exercise program' related to physical activity are being reported as issues. The results of this study are basic information related to the physical activities of the disabled in Korea, and it is judged that they can be used in various fields such as physical education, sports, and health science.
