국내 김장생(金長生) 사상 연구 현황 분석 - KCI 등재후보지 이상 학술지 논문을 중심으로 -

본 논문의 주제는 국내 KCI 등재후보지 이상의 학술지에 현재까지 발표된 사계(沙溪) 김장생(金長生, 1548~1631) 사상에 대한 연구 논문들을 분석하여, 그 현황을 조망하고 앞으로 보완되어야 할 점들을 검토하는 것이다. 김장생은 조선 유학사에 있어서 예학, 성리학, 경학 분야에서 중요 인물로 거론된다. 당시 조선사회는 사회 혼란을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 체제가 요구되었는데, 그 대안으로 제시된 것이 예학이며, 김장생은 예학의 성립에 결정적 역할을 했던 인물이다. 또 그의 예학은 성리학적 이론을 근간으로 삼고 있는데, 그 학문은 율곡으로부터 전수받은 것이다. 그러나 단순히 답습만 한 것이 아니라, 율곡과 이견을 보이는 부분이 있다. 그리고 자신의 견해를 뒷받침하기 위해 다양한 학설을 검토하여 수용과 발전을 거듭하게 되는데, 이것은 첨예하게 발전된 조선 성리학의 면모를 보여주는 것이다. 또 당시에는 중국 학자들의 경서 해석에서 벗어나 그 오류를 비판하거나 독자적 해석을 하게 되는데, 김장생 또한 이러한 입장에서 경서에 대한 주석을 작성하게 된다. 따라서 그의 학문은 예학, 성리학, 경학 연구에 있어서 크게 주목받고 있다. 현재까지 국내 KCI 등재후보지 이상의 학술지에 발표된 김장생에 대한 논문은 총 33편인데, 예학에 대한 것이 8편, 경학에 대한 것이 8편, 성리학에 대한 것이 9편, 그 외 기타 사상에 대한 것이 8편이다. 본 논문에서는 현재까지 발표된 논문들을 검토하여 그 주요 내용과 분석 방법들을 살펴보고, 앞으로 보완되어야 할 부분들에 대해 논의하겠다.
Abstract
The subject of this paper is to analyze research papers on Sagye Kim Jang-saeng published to date in academic journals that are candidates for domestic KCI listing or higher. And we will discuss topics that need to be supplemented in the future. Kim Jang-saeng is mentioned as an important figure in the history of Joseon Confucianism in the Ritual Theory, Neo-Confucianism, and Study of Confucian Classics. At that time, Joseon society needed a new system that could overcome social chaos, and the alternative presented was Ritual Theory. He was a person who played a decisive role in the establishment of ritual theory. Also, his ritual theory are based on Neo-Confucian theory. He learned from his teacher and established his own independent doctrine. This shows the development of Neo-Confucianism in Joseon at that time. Also, at that time, they began to deviate from the interpretations of Chinese scholars and create their own interpretations of the Classics. He also reinterpreted the Classics from this perspective. Accordingly, his scholarship has received great attention in the fields of Joseon Dynasty's Ritual Theory, Neo-Confucianism, and Study of Confucian Classics. As of now, a total of 33 papers on him have been published in academic journals that are candidates for domestic KCI listing or higher. There are eight parts on the Ritual Theory, eight parts on the Study of Confucian Classics, nine parts on Neo-Confucianism, and eight parts on other thoughts. In this paper, we will review the papers published to date, examine their main contents and analysis methods, and discuss areas that need to be improved in the future.
