한국판 공격자 동일시 척도(K-IAS)의 타당화

본 연구에서는 Lahav 외 연구진(2019)이 개발한 공격자 동일시 척도(Identification with the Aggressor Scale: IAS)를 한국판으로 타당화 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 우선 원척도의 번역 및 역번역 후 동등성 평정의 과정을 거쳐서 최종 번역을 완성하였다. 이후 대인 간 폭력 경험이 있는 전국의 대학생 총 200명을 수집하여 문항분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 그 과정에서 원척도의 4개의 문항을 삭제하였다. 그 결과, K-IAS는 총 19문항으로, 하위요인은 모두 4개이며, 각각 ‘가해자의 공격성 동일시’, ‘가해자의 경험 흡수’, ‘가해자를 향한 과민성’, ‘주체성 대체’로 명명되었다. 다음으로 대인 간 폭력 경험이 있는 전국의 대학생 총 317명을 수집하여 확인적 요인분석과 신뢰도를 검증하였다. K-IAS의 요인 구조는 적합하였으며, 양호한 신뢰도가 확보되었다. 또한, K-IAS와 다른 척도 간의 상관분석을 통해 수렴타당도, 변별타당도, 준거타당도를 확인하였고, 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 증분타당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과 K-IAS가 타당한 도구로 확인되었다. 추가로 단일폭력집단과 중복폭력집단 간에 K-IAS의 차이를 검증한 결과, 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의 및 한계점과 후속 연구에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study aimed to validate the Korean version of the Identification with the Aggressor Scale (IAS; Lahav et al., 2019). Item analysis and exploratory factor analysis were conducted on a sample of 200 university students who had experienced interpersonal violence, resulting in the removal of four items. The K-IAS comprised 19 items grouped into four subscales: ‘Identifying with the Perpetrator’s Aggression’, ‘Adoption of the Perpetrator’s Experience’, ‘Replacement of Agency’, ‘Hyper-Sensitivity to the Perpetrator’. Confirmatory factor analysis, reliability assessment, and validity examination were carried out on a separate sample of 317 university students who had experienced interpersonal violence. These analyses confirmed the factor structure of the K-IAS and established its reliability. Convergent, discriminant, criterion, and incremental validity were tested through correlation and hierarchical regression analyses, confirming the K-IAS as a valid tool. The K-IAS scores showed significant differences between groups that had experienced single versus multiple instances of violence. The study’s significance and limitations were discussed, and future research directions were proposed.
