상담자의 친족성폭력 피해자 상담 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

본 연구는 상담자의 친족성폭력 피해자 상담 경험의 본질과 의미를 탐색함으로써 친족성폭력 피해자 상담과정에 대해 깊이 있게 이해하고자 수행되었다. 연구 대상으로는 의도적 표집을 활용하여 친족성폭력 피해자 상담을 경험한 상담경력 5년 이상의 상담자 8명을 모집하였다. 연구분석은 현상학적 질적 연구 방법 중 Giorgi(1985)의 방법을 적용하였고 그 결과 참여자의 진술로부터 친족성폭력 피해자 상담 경험의 본질적 구조를 구성하는 7개의 핵심 구성요소와 19개의 하위구성 요소가 도출되었다. 7개 핵심 구성요소는 고통스러워하는 내담자를 마주함, 사례의 큰 무게감을 감당하기 어려움, 내담자의 감정이 전이되어 고통을 공유함, 내담자의 세계에 몰입됨, 삶의 균형감을 잃어버림, 상담의 동맹자로서 회복에 다가섬, 한 고비 넘어 다시 상담의 여정으로 나아감이다. 이를 바탕으로 사례의 심각함을 인식하고 상담자로서 심리적 부담을 느낌, 상담과정 중 겪게 되는 어쩔 수 없는 진통, 상담자의 역할에 최선을 다하기로 함, 내담자와의 동반성장이 소진의 회복기제가 됨이라는 4개의 통합적 개념으로 기술하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 연구의 논의와 의의, 제언을 하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of the counseling process for victims of sexual violence within the family. The subjects were eight counselors with more than five years of experience in this field. The phenomenological method of Giorgi (1985) was applied to the research analysis. As a result, seven core components and 19 sub-components constituting the essential structure of the counseling experience were derived from the statements of the participants. The seven core components are: facing a painful client, difficulty in bearing the weight of the case, transferring the client's emotions to share pain, immersion in the client’s world, losing balance in life, approaching recovery as an ally in counseling, and moving beyond one crisis to the journey of counseling. Based on these results, the study discusses its significance and provides suggestions for future research.
