본 연구의 목적은 반값 등록금이 현실화되고 있는 시점에서 대학재정의 투명성, 명료성, 합리성 그리고 효율성을 바탕으로 사립대학의 존속과 유지를 위한 바람직한 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 대학예산의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 운영계산서를 중심으로 운영수익과 운영비용을 분석함으로써 재무구조의 건전성을 위한 표준모델을 설정하는 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 지역에 따라 재학생 충원율은 차이를 나타내었다. 둘째, 재학생충원율은 지역, 취업률, 교원 확보율 그리고 등록금과 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 특히, 지역변수는 재학생 충원율과 가장 큰 관련성을 나타내었다. 본 연구는 재학생 충원율과 관련 있는 지표를 통하여 학생들이 대학선택에 어떤 요인이 가장 중요한 것인가를 파악함으로써, 대학의 경영자가 대학의 경영전략수립에 도움이 될 자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.
Abstract
Students, parents and many people requires to reduce a registration fee. So that Matter of a registration fee attracted national attention and people of every class have a diversity of opinions. The purpose of this paper is to show that what is private university the way to go in the nowdays. The empirical results are as follows:First, we analyse operating revenue and operating cost and we afford basic data to establish standard model. Second, we find that the students rate of university is different among the region. Specially there is difference between university located in the Seoul area and provinces area. Third, the results show the students rate of university are significant positive(or negative) effects are region, employment rate of their graduates, rate of teachers signed up and registration fee.
