부산 예대출 통계정비와 통계 분석에 나타난 특징 (1945~2000): 예금은행을 중심으로

Abstract

The first purpose of this article is to arrange the long-term statistics of deposits and loans of deposits banks in Busan, from 1945(the Liberation) to 2000. This is very needed because long-term time series data is not ready yet and the publishing institutions offer different raw data, and even the data published by the same institution does not accord with each other. Through this, the developmental process of the bankings by province and its problems can be more easily understood.The second purpose is to analyze the process of the change of deposits and loans in Busan, on the basis of the statistics prepared from the first data. In order to grasp the characteristics of banking in Busan, the indirect method is applied, with comparing the statistics of Busan with that of the whole country or Seoul. The statistics in current market prices is converted into constant market prices. This article shows the time when the level of deposits and loans in Busan restores that of 1945, increasing rates at each period, the change of the ratio of Busan's and Seoul's bankings in the whole country, the fluctuation of deposits and loans per capita, and the rate of loans to deposits and so on.
