Abstract
The EU's structure fund and cohesion fund are crucial part of integration policies in Europe. 27 member countries have different economic power and quality of living. Development and investment of EU money into underdeveloped regions can make 27 countries more competitive and livable in long term perspective.Korea's balanced development policies has been quite successful in terms of underdeveloped region development and investment which have focused on human infrastructure. By training and educating people or leaders in these regions, change can start. However, most programs for underdeveloped regions have problems of lack of money, small projects, and repetition of programs between government ministries of Korea.By introducing those funds in Korea, we can focus on more of quality of living and happiness of people of those regions. This also can prevent local people from moving to capital regions. Minimum standard of living can be provided to residents of underdeveloped cities and counties.
