울산지역 청년여성의 고용환경 및 첫 일자리 진입결정에 관한 연구

본고는 울산 청년여성의 고용환경 및 첫 일자리 진입결정 요인을 분석한 연구이다. 먼저, 통계청 자료를 통해 공식 실업률도 높고, 실제 체감하는 확장실업률은 더욱 높음을 확인하였다. 그리고 첫 일자리를 얻기까지의 이행시기를 한정하여 생존함수와 결정요인 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 울산의 청년여성은 최종학력이 고학력자일수록 취업소요기간이 길며, 전공계열에서 인문사회 전공이 인문사회 이외 전공보다 첫 일자리 진입이 늦은 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 거주지 독립한 집단이 그렇지 않은 집단보다 첫 일자리 진입에 빠른 것으로 나타났으며, 그리고 자격증 역시 청년여성의 첫 일자리 진입에 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 직업훈련의 경우에 직업훈련을 받은 청년여성이 그렇지 않은 집단보다 취업소요기간이 긴 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the employment environment for young women in Ulsan and the factors that determine their first job entry. Firstly, using data from Statistics Korea, it was confirmed that the official unemployment rate is high, and the alternative unemployment rate is even higher. Additionally, the following results were obtained through survival function analysis and identification of decisive factors affecting the first job acquisition. In Ulsan, young women with higher levels of education, especially those specializing in humanities and social sciences, experience prolonged periods of job search before obtaining their initial employment. Conversely, independent young women were able to secure their first job relatively quickly, and those with licenses found employment promptly. However, concerning vocational training, it was found that young women who received vocational training had a longer period of unemployment than those who did not.
