Abstract
This study is a study that assesses the physical, mental, and environmental characteristics and needs for local welfare, focusing on statements about daily life experiences in independent lives of people with muscle disabilities. As a result of a total of 12 study participants, first, the daily life experiences of people with muscle disabilities are 'Yes for independence, No for independence', 'required for activity assistance and work support', and 'difficulty in using special protective equipment for people with muscle disabilities'. Second, the disability characteristics of people with muscle disabilities are ‘ADL & IADL performance deviations’, ‘limits of physical activity and efforts to access information’, ‘diversifying communication methods and exchange subjects’, ‘atrophy of psychology and emotions due to living alone’, and environmental characteristics are ‘poor residential environment and emergency response weakness’, and ‘convenience facilities unsuitable for people with muscle disabilities’. Third, the needs for community welfare that the muscular disabled want were studied in terms of policies and institutional aspects such as ‘creating independent disability types’, ‘legislating ordinances and finances to strengthen social access’, ‘establishing a hub-type welfare center’, ‘establishing a specialized hospital’, ‘online communication rooms and jobs’, ‘developing social participation content’, and ‘requiring full care services’, ‘expanding visiting nursing and welfare support’, and ‘preventive health checkups’.
