근육장애인의 생활경험을 통해 본 보건·복지 욕구: 현상학적 분석을 중심으로

본 연구에서는 근육장애인의 장애 경험을 바탕으로 보건･복지서비스 욕구를 파악하고 근육장애인을 위한 보건･복지서비스 개선을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 근육장애인 당사자 10인을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시하였다. 심층인터뷰 참여자는 이론적 표본 추출방법으로 선정하였으며 Giorgi(2012)의 현상학적 자료 분석 방법을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 품위의 상실, 현상유지의 어려움, 오진과 혼돈의 진단명, 명암이 혼재된 장애인 복지정책, 3不(불쾌, 불편, 불통)의 사회생활, 찌그러진 인간관계, 고군분투하며 마음 다스리기, 불가능을 가능으로 설계해나가는 삶 등의 8개의 본질적 주제를 제시하였으며 경험 구조를 도식화하였다. 조사 결과에 기초해 근육장애인이 필요로하는 보건･복지서비스의 구체적인 내용을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of the current study is to investigate the health and welfare service needs of people with muscular disabilities and to develop the policies related to the services. For this, a total of 10 in-depth individual ‘interviews were conducted. Based on the theoretical sampling, the interviewees were collected and the data were analyzed through Giorgi(2012)'s phenomenological analysis. As a result, 8 basic themes(loss of dignity, difficulties in maintaining current conditions, misdiagnosis and confusion, disability welfare policies mixing darkness and brightness, social life with three inconvenient things, distorted personal relationships, self mind controlling, life designed to make impossible possible) and the structure of experience were proposed. Based on the findings, policy implications for people with muscular disabilities were suggested.
