병원의 수익성 지표와 수익성에 영향을 미치는 요인들의일관성에 관한 연구

본 연구는 재무적 지표들을 중심으로 하여 지금까지 보편적으로 사용되어 온 수익성 지표 변수와 수익성에 영향을 미치는 요인들 간에 일관성을 가지는지에 대해 국립대학교 병원을 대상으로 검증하여 관련 실증연구의 유용성을 향상시켜 보고자 하는데 있으며, 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 재료비와 인건비, 복리후생비의 경우 수익성지표변수에 따라 상반되거나 일관된 결과를 제시하지 못한 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 신중한 해석이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 광고선전비교육연구비 변수와 관련된 <연구가설 3>의 경우, 광고선전비 변수는 의료이익율, 경상이익율, 순이익율 모두에서 일관되게 비유의적인 또는 음(-)의 값을 보여 광고선전비는 수익성에 전혀 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 교육연구비 변수는 이익률의 지표에 따라 상이한 결과를 제시하여 이의 해석에 신중할 필요가 있음을 나타내었다. 셋째, 이자비용 변수는 의료이익율을 중심으로 한 결과에서는 모두 유의적인 음(-)의 값을 보여 이자비용이 증가할수록 수익성이 감소하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 경상이익율과 순이익율을 중심으로 한 결과에서는 유의적인 양(+) 또는 비유의적인 양(+)의 값을 보여 의료이익율을 중심으로 한 경우와 상반되게 나타났다.이러한 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 광고선전비 변수를 제외한 나머지 변수의 경우 어떠한 수익성 지표를 사용하는가에 따라 그 결과가 달라질 수 있으므로 그 해석에 신중한 결과가 요구된다고 할 수 있으며, 자기자본 경상이익율과 자기자본 순이익율은 모형의 설명력이 거의 없는 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
Abstract
The purposes of this paper are that approving the effectiveness of empirical researches on examining relationship between the profit index and the factors that affect profitability by studying the national university hospital. The results are as following;In the case of material cost, cost of labor and welfare, at first, there are distinctly different results from the profit index. Therefore it should be approached with caution.Secondly, in research hypothesis related with costs of advertising and educational research cost shows insignificancy or negative value consistently so that can’t give affection to profitability. In the mean time, educational research variable exhibit different outcomes depending on each profit variables.Thirdly, in the case of interest expense variable and medical income, it shows negative value in a significant level. The ordinary income and net income’s case, however, it released that positive value in a significant or insignificant level. It is directly-opposed result from medical income’s case.Those of results can tell that it could be different what profit variables are used except advertisement expenditure. Normal profit to net worth and return on equity model could not show reliabilities so further more studies are required.
