병원의 특성에 따른 경영성과 차이 분석

초록

본 연구는 지방공사의료원과 의료법인 병원 간에 병원의 특성에 따라 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 차이가 있는지를 3개년 재무제표 자료를 이용한 분석을 통해 보다 근거 있는 증거를 제시하여 병원의 경영자 및 관리자 그리고 의료정책을 입안하는 관계자에게 유용한 정보를제공하는데 있다. 분석결과, 모두 비영리 의료기관이지만 공공의료를 대단히 중시하는 지방공사의료원에 비해공공의료를 중시하고는 있지만 수익성도 추구해야하는 의료법인 병원이 광고선전비와 교육훈련비에 더 많은 투자를 하여 높은 경영성과를 달성하고 있으며, 의료기기 및 장치비에 대한 투자도 경영성과를 높이는 효율적 경영을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 지방공사의료원은 제도적인 문제 등으로 인해 자원의 효율적인 이용이나 공격적이고 적극적인 투자활동 등에 상대적으로 많은 제약이 있는 것에 기인한다고 인식되므로 지방공사의료원 경영성과 평가에 있어서는 공공성에 기여한 가치를 충분히 반영해야 할 필요성도 있음을 인식하게 하였다. 그러나 본 연구는 분석기간이 3년에 불과하고 재무자료만을 사용하여 연구하였기 때문에 전체를 명확하게 대변한다고 보기는 어려우므로 향후 보다 많은 분석기간과 재무적 자료 뿐 만 아니라 비재무적인 자료를 통한 요인도 추가하여 연구의 정밀도를 제고해야 할 필요성이 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Abstract

This study is that there is any difference of factors to have an effect on the management performance in accordance with the nature of the hospital between Provincial Medical Center and the hospital medical corporations in the using three-year financial statement data. The results of this analysis will provide useful information to the hospital's managers or administrators and Health care policy makers. The results of analysis provide that the hospital medical corporations which should also pursue profitable, compared to the of Provincial Medical Center which attach great importance to public health, the more investments of the advertising expenses, training expenses and Medical device costs achieve high management performance and the efficient management. These results come from the relative many constraints for efficient use of resource and aggressive investment activities in Provincial Medical Center. Therefore, it is need to reflect sufficiently value that contribute to the public nature in management performance assessment for Provincial Medical Center. But because to use the analysis period a mere three years and financial data only, this study will be difficult is clearly seen as representing the whole. There will be a need to add many non-financial as well as data analysis period and financial data is judged in order to increase the precision of the study.
