본 연구는 간호학과 신입생의 진로결정자기효능감과 간호전문직관이 진로선택몰입에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 진로결정자기효능감과 진로선택몰입 간의 관계에서 간호전문직관의 매개효과를 규명하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 충남지역과 제주도에 소재한 2개 대학에 재학 중인 간호학과 신입생 172명의 자료를 수집하여 SPSS Statistics 30.0과 SPSS PROCESS Macro version 4.2를 사용하여 분석하였다. 대상자의 진로결정자기효능감과 진로선택몰입의 관계에서 간호전문직관의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 간접효과 크기는 0.14였고 95% confidence interval (0.02, 0.35)에서 부트스트랩의 상한값과 하한값이 0을 포함하지 않아 간호전문직관의 매개효과가 검증되었다. 진로결정자기효능감이 진로선택몰입에 미치는 직접효과는 0.69로, 진로결정자기효능감과 진로선택몰입간의 관계에서 매개변수 간호전문직관은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호학과 교육과정에 있어서 진로결정자기효능감 향상과 올바른 간호전문직관 정립을 연계한 통합적 교육프로그램을 개발하여 진로선택몰입을 향상시킬 수 있도록 단계적인 교육전략이 필요하다.
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the influence of career decision-making self-efficacy and nursing professionalism on career choice commitment among first-year nursing students and to explore the mediating effect of nursing professionalism on the relationship between career decision-making self-efficacy and career choice commitment. A total of 172 students from two universities in the Chungnam region and Jeju Island participated. Data were analyzed using SPSS 30.0 and the SPSS Process macro (Model 4). Results indicated that nursing professionalism had a significant mediating effect, with an indirect effect of 0.14 and a 95% confidence interval (0.02, 0.35) excluding zero. The direct effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on career choice commitment was 0.69, confirming partial mediation. The findings indicate that higher levels of career decision-making self-efficacy and nursing professionalism contribute to stronger career choice commitment among first-year nursing students. Therefore, nursing education programs should integrate strategies that enhance self-efficacy in career decision-making and cultivate a strong sense of nursing professionalism. A structured and phased educational approach is recommended to promote sustained commitment to the nursing profession.
