본 연구는 한국 기독교회의 IT 기술의 활용 현황을 인적 자원을 중심으로 실증적으로 분석하고, 이를 기반으로향후 교회 IT 사역의 발전 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 교회 규모, 인력, 기술 보유 현황 등 다양한변수를 포함한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 30개 교회의 응답을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 대다수 교회에서 IT 사역이자원봉사 형태로 운영되고 있으며, 예산과 전문 인력 확보가 미흡한 상황이었다. 특히 중형 교회에서는 IT 사역의 중요성이 상대적으로 인식되고 있음에도 불구하고, 체계적 지원이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이러한 현실을 반영하여 교회 규모별 맞춤형 IT 전략, 보상 체계 확립, 인력 공유 및 교육 체계 구축 등을 발전 방향으로 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to empirically analyze the current utilization of IT technologies in Korean Christian churches, with a particular focus on human resources, and to propose future directions for church IT ministry based on the findings. To this end, a survey was conducted encompassing various variables such as church size, personnel, and technological capacity. Responses from 30 churches were analyzed. The analysis revealed that in most churches, IT ministries are operated on a volunteer basis, with limited budgets and a lack of professional personnel. Notably, while medium-sized churches demonstrated a relatively high awareness of the importance of IT ministry, they were found to lack systematic support. Reflecting these realities, this study proposes development strategies such as tailored IT approaches by church size, the establishment of compensation systems, and the development of resource-sharing and training frameworks
