The 105mm high explosive shell for tanks is used to neutralize anti-personnel and anti-objective targets during operations in urban areas, and is currently not used in Korea. In Korea, only two types of tactical shell (APFSDS-T, HEAT-T) and training shell (TP-T) are used. It is necessary to develop high-explosive shell for tanks to increase the tactical operation application and promote the export of tank shell. in this study, an investigation on a high-explosive shell for a 105mm tank, which can be operated on domestic and foreign 105mm tanks, and has structural safety and flight stability was conducted.
