아동의 자아존중감이 학교적응에 미치는 영향: 또래애착의 매개역할을 중심으로

본 연구는 초등학교 시기 아동의 삶의 질에 중요한 요인 중 하나인 학교적응을 높일 수 있는 방법을 모색하고자 아동의 개인요인인 아동의 자아존중감과 또래와의 상호작용에서 발생하는 또래애착, 그리고 학교적응 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 아동의 자아존중감이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 또래애착의 매개역할을 살펴보았다. 아동패널 10차년도(2017년) 자료에서 초등학교 3학년 633명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과 아동의 자아존중감, 또래애착 및 학교적응은 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 자아존중감은 또래애착 및 학교적응의 하위변인 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 또래애착의 의사소통은 또래적응, 교사적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 또래애착의 신뢰는 학교생활적응, 학업수행적응에, 또래애착의 소외는 학업수행적응, 또래적응, 교사적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 자아존중감이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서의 또래애착의 매개역할을 살펴본 결과, 또래애착 중 의사소통과 신뢰는 학교생활적응, 학업수행적응, 또래적응에 완전 혹은 부분매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났고, 소외는 학교생활적응, 또래적응, 교사적응에 완전 혹은 부분매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 아동의 자아존중감이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 아동의 또래애착의 중요함을 인식하게 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find ways to improve school adaptation, which is one of the important factors for the quality of life of elementary school children. This study examined the relationship between sdlf-esteem, peer attachment, and school adaptation and the mediating role of peer attachment in the effects of children’s self-esteem on school adaptation. The 633 children of elementary school in the 10th year (2017) of the Children’s Panel were selected. The results showed that children’s self-esteem, peer attachment, and school adaptation were significantly correlated. Children’s self-esteem was found to affect both peer attachment and subadaptation of school adaptation. Peer attachment affects peer adaptation and teacher adaptation, and trust in peer attachment affects school life adaptation, academic performance adaptation, and peer alienation affects academic adaptation, peer adaptation, and teacher adaptation. Appeared to affect. As a result of examining the mediating role of peer attachment in the influence of children’s self-esteem on school adaptation, it was found that communication and trust played a full or partial role in school life adaptation, academic performance adaptation, and peer adaptation during peer attachment. Alienation was found to play a full or partial role in school adaptation, peer adaptation, and teacher adaptation. These findings help to recognize the importance of peer attachment in children’s self-esteem.
