Criminal law that was enacted in 1953 has been amended about the small part,but the essential revision isn’t still accomplished. According to the social rapidchange, there has been a strong request about the total revision of criminal lawsince failing in revising criminal law in 1992. The ministry of Justice establishedthe advisory committee for crimanal law reform, the committee promoted revisionof criminal law from June 2007. The partial criminal law amendment about thegeneral part was submitted to the National Assembly in 2011, but this criminal lawamenment fell into disuse by the automatic, because of ending of the session of the18 national assembly. Neverthless, the revision work is still going on to discussabout reforming not only general part but also pariculars parts of crimal law andto decide the final draft of criminal law. I hope that the final draft of criminal lawwill be adopted and passed by National Assembly as soon as possible, therefore wewill have the advanced criminal law.
