본고는 9억 2천만 어절 규모의 신문 말뭉치를 활용하여 환언 관계를 이루는 어휘요소(단어, 연어, 관용표현)의 경쟁 관계를 분석하였다. 기존의 국어 어휘의미론 연구가 주로 단어 중심으로 진행되었다면, 본고는 기의에서 기표로의 방향에 초점을 두고, 단어 외에도 연어와 관용표현을 함께 다루어 이점을 제시하였다. 3절에서는 대규모 신문 말뭉치를 전처리하고, 계량적 정보와 통계적 정보를 추출하는 과정을 설명했다. 이 과정에서 형태소 분석기를 통해 양질의 형태소 분석 결과를 도출하여 유의미한 작업이 가능함을 보여주었다. 4절에서는 환언 관계를 형성하는 어휘요소들의 다양한 경쟁 관계를 분석하고, 어휘요소들의 상대 빈도 비율이 유지되고, 확대되고, 감소하는 양상을 관찰하였다.
Abstract
This paper analyzes the competitive relationships among words, collocations, and idiomatic expressions that form paraphrastic relationships using a newspaper corpus of 920 million eojeols. While previous research in Korean lexical semantics has predominantly focused on words, this study emphasizes the direction from meaning to text, presenting the advantages of including not only words but also collocations and idiomatic expressions. Section 3 describes the preprocessing of the large newspaper corpus and the process of extracting quantitative and statistical information. It demonstrates that meaningful work is possible by deriving high-quality morphological analysis results using a morphological analyzer. Section 4 analyzes the various competitive relationships among lexical units that form paraphrastic relationships, observing patterns of maintenance, expansion, reduction, and even obsolescence in the usage of these lexical units.
